How We Work With You

There are a number of ways that we work with our clients to help design and bring strategy to life. Our approach is coaching and facilitation based versus consulting. This means we work with you to clarify your thinking versus doing the work for you. We find this approach to be much more sustainable than pure consulting. Some of the areas in which we work include:

  • Generating Customer Understanding - We interview and run workshops with your customers to better understand their needs and motivations. We use this information to help drive strategy that ultimately helps tighten the match between your offer and what the market is actually motivated by.
  • Strategic Planning - We begin by interviewing your leaders and employees to get a fuller picture of the current situation you face, both within the organization and in the market. We then conduct a 2 day Strategic Planning workshop in which we facilitate your team through our comprehensive step-by-step process. The output of the session is a plan complete with goals, strategies, initiatives and workable action plans.
  • Leadership Team Coaching – once the plan is complete, we meet with your leadership team at a monthly ½ day meeting to track progress against the plan and be able to have productive discussions where expectations have been missed (see MMOT below). This meeting is also an opportunity to course correct the plan if required. We demonstrate to the team how to run this type of meeting so that eventually clients can do it without our involvement. We also provide 1:1 coaching for leaders.
  • MMOT Training - The Managerial Moment of Truth (MMOT) is a powerful process that can dramatically increase performance and increase productivity without adding cost to an organization. It teaches leaders and teams how to maintain accountability for results. This dynamic technique helps people face up to reality and see the truth in order to correct mistakes, learn from past performance, and adjust processes to build a more successful team or organization. We train leaders on how to use this process in their organizations.
  • Organizational Design and Consulting – in some cases organizational structure and processes get in the way of success. We help organizations to redesign structure and process to support goal achievement.
  • Getting Marketing Agencies to Overdeliver – effective marketing communication is very strategic as it is about letting your target customers know just how good your offer is. As such, the way you and your marketing agencies collaborate is critical to your success. We help you maximize the productivity of that critical relationship.
