SCIENCE & STRATEGY PROJECT coordinator - full time
We are Sixsense Strategy Group (www.sixsenseinc.com), a boutique consulting company with a singular focus on the life sciences industry. Our strategists and scientists collaborate to provide a unique and refreshing approach to strategy. We work with a breadth of clients. Our sweet spot is companies that are launching new therapies or entering new disease areas and are looking for strategic partners.
 
We have had the honour of working with a number of Canadian, US, and European pharmaceutical and biotech clients, including Apellis Pharmaceuticals, EMD Serono, Sage Therapeutics, Spark Therapeutics, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Arena Pharmaceuticals, Neurogene, Chiesi, Intercept, bluebird bio, Ovid, Jazz Pharma, Flexion Therapeutics, Sobi, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and many others.
 
We are currently looking for a Science & Strategy Project Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry level, full-time role supporting client project delivery. Specific responsibilities include: 
 
  • Collaborate with the project teams to ensure the delivery of consulting services to pharmaceutical industry clients
  • Track and deliver documentation for compliance reporting
  • Develop invitations, agendas, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Implement systems and procedures to increase workplace efficiency
  • Interact across project teams, with health care professionals, and vendor contacts
  • Provide customer service and logistics support
  • Consistently provide complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and project team
  • Provide on-going communication through team meetings/minutes/update memos to project team
  • Initiate and maintain contact with other key project individuals for clarification, coordination, and negotiation of critical issues
  • Deliver post-project expense reporting and reconciliation
 
Qualifications and Skill Requirements 
 
  • Undergraduate degree in Life Science or a health-related field
  • PMP Designation an asset
  • Experience working with reporting and compliance systems (Veeva Vault PromoMats and MedComms) an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management processes, principles and tools
  • Clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience (preferred)
  • Availability to start working full time within 3 weeks of receiving an offer
  • Proven writing/communication skills with high attention to detail – both in a narrative style for reports as well as the ability to tailor content for PowerPoint presentations
  • Exemplary organization and time management skills
  • Strong capability in juggling priorities to meet deadlines, while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes
  • Proficiency in MS Office, excellence in PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in Canada legally for any employer, a valid passport and ability to travel to Europe and USA
